About the composer
Thomas Schroyer has been performing professionally for the past eight years throughout the US and Northern Europe. His work is a combination of ambient electronic beats and sounds fused with traditional middle-eastern instruments. A collage of a Persian Santoor, dumbek, tar, riq, udu, tablas and keyboards creates his own distinctive sound. He currently has three CDs: "Invisible Bazaar", "Eastern Journeys" and "A Treat of the Beat".
Thomas' extensive travel and world music studies throughout Asia, South America, the Middle-East and Europe have contributed greatly to his work in several travel film soundtracks. Beyond film music, Thomas has worked as a storyteller, performer, music theater director, percussion teacher and metal sculptor. He can be reached at thomasschroyer@hotmail.com
